Ways to work
The problem decides the shape of the work.
Sometimes you need a focused strategic intervention.
Sometimes you need senior thinking in the room on an ongoing basis.
And sometimes the real problem is the system behind the content.
Three ways to work with me. One objective: better commercial decisions and better work.
01 · Strategic project
Content, Messaging & Conversion Strategy
For a defined commercial problem that needs sharper thinking before it needs more output.
This is usually the right fit when you are launching, repositioning, rebuilding a website, planning a campaign or trying to understand why something is not converting as well as it should.
The work starts with diagnosis. What is actually getting in the way?
From there, we sharpen the proposition, messaging, content strategy or conversion journey and turn that thinking into a practical direction the business can use.
Hands-on when it helps
If solving the problem requires high-value copy or content, I can write it.
Routine production is not the model.
Typical scope
- positioning and messaging
- conversion strategy
- content strategy
- website and landing-page strategy
- campaign strategy
- SEO and AI-search considerations
- review and prioritisation of existing content
02 · Ongoing senior leadership
Fractional Content & AI Strategy
For businesses with plenty of content and marketing activity, but not enough senior ownership across it.
You may have internal marketers, freelancers, agencies and founders all moving things forward.
The problem is that nobody is consistently connecting the message, priorities, campaigns, search, quality and AI adoption back to the commercial objective.
I work alongside the team to provide that senior layer.
This is not a monthly bundle of deliverables.
You are buying continuity of judgement, direction and decision-making.
Typical scope
- ongoing content and messaging strategy
- strategic prioritisation and planning
- campaign and editorial direction
- senior review and quality control
- AI SEO, GEO/AEO and search implications
- content operations and workflow improvement
- guidance for internal teams, founders and agency partners
03 · Systems intervention
AI-Enabled Content Systems
AI rarely fixes a broken content operation.
Usually, it makes the broken parts move faster.
This work is for teams already producing enough content for the machinery underneath it to matter.
Research sits in one place. Briefs vary by person. Source knowledge is fragmented. AI use is inconsistent. Reviews take too long. Good work is difficult to reuse.
The answer is not another tool.
It is a better operating system for the content.
AI assistants, prompts and tools may be part of the solution.
They are not the product.
Typical scope
- audit the existing content operation
- identify bottlenecks, duplication and quality risks
- redesign priority workflows
- structure content knowledge and source material
- improve research, briefing, creation and review processes
- build useful human-review and quality-control points
- improve repurposing, governance and AI-search workflows
- document the system so the team can actually use it
A useful distinction
Strategy problem or systems problem?
Fractional strategy can identify and oversee improvements to how the team works.
But when the work becomes a substantial audit, redesign or implementation of the content operating system, it becomes an AI-Enabled Content Systems engagement.
And if the primary problem is broader business operations rather than content, marketing, messaging or growth, that work belongs under allmi.
Senior thinking. Practical involvement.
Diagnose before prescribing
I do not arrive with a preferred tool, tactic or deliverable. We work out what is actually causing the problem first.
Stay close to the commercial objective
Content only matters if it helps the business communicate, convert, grow or operate better.
Get hands-on where it adds value
Strategy should not mean standing at a distance from the work. If direct involvement materially improves the outcome, I get involved.
Use AI where it earns its place
Not because the project needs an AI label. Because it genuinely improves the way the work gets done.
Not sure which one fits?
Most good projects do not arrive neatly labelled.
Tell me what is getting in the way. We can work out the right shape from there.
